Advocacy Briefing: SU2C and the SPORE

Bay Area Breast SPORE Research Advocates and those interested in learning more about Breast Cancer Research Advocacy are invited to attend the upcoming talk, part one of a series of Advocacy Briefings. Dr. Joe W. Gray, Breast Oncology Program Leader, Director of the Bay Area Breast Cancer SPORE, and Professor of Laboratory Medicine at UCSF and Director of the Life Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, has just been awarded a Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) Dream Team Grant and he will spearhead the latest research in developing personalized targeted therapies for various types of breast tumors. 

When: Mon. July 27, 4:30 – 5:30 pm, with refreshments and reception to follow

Location: Herbst Auditorium, 2nd floor Room B248 at UCSF, Mt. Zion Campus, 1600 Divisadero St. SF

Audience: Breast Cancer Advocates and anyone interested in Breast Cancer Research
