Introduction to Sea Kayaking

Level: Moderate
This comprehensive one-day class introduces the basic skills and equipment required for the sport of sea kayaking. The curriculum covers launching and landing techniques, paddle stroke instruction, and capsize and re-entry procedures; all practiced in the water. Additionally, we will discuss kayaking accessories, safety equipment, kayak design, trip planning, and tides and currents. This class will qualify you for future rentals through most outfitters.
