Third Annual Bay Area VisionWalk

The Bay Area VisionWalk will take place on Saturday, June 6 at Golden Gate Park’s Music Concourse Bandshell. Registration starts at 9 a.m. The VisionWalk starts at 10. The 5K walk-a-thon fundraiser benefits the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB), a national non-profit organization that provides funding to many of the researchers on the UCSF Parnassus campus. The FFB is dedicated to finding preventions, treatments and cures for Retinitis Pigmentosa, macular degeneration and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
